What is AW?

The AW is an important measurement to maintain the chemical stability of foods, the microbiological stability of personal care products, to improve the shelf-life of a product, to predict which microorganisms will be sources of spoilage.

For example, most of the bacteria do not grow at water activities below

0.91 and molds which are the most tolerant of low water conditions grow in the range of 0.61 - 0.94.

This parameter helps in controlling the non-enzymatic reactions too.

 

                              

 

Introduction to eFAst-Lab

Leak-proof measurement chamber

The unique design of the  eFAst-Lab sensor can create

a leak-proof measurement chamber. A "pop" each time you open the head confirms this.

Automatic calibration

All the instruments need to be calibrated from time to time due to electronic derivation . Often this procedure is long and requires some knowledge. This is why GBX Scientific LTD has developed the first instrument to include the auto-calibration feature in 1 and 2 points without the need to tell to the instrument the value of the salt.

 

Dirty mirror info.

When using mirror technology, the mirror may become dirty due to contamination of products used. If when this happens you don't get the Dirty Mirror Info, you might obtain completely wrong measurements. GBX has developed a way to inform the user if the mirror needs to be cleaned. This can be done very easily in only 3 minutes.

No need to select or search for Port Com when you connect a serial connector to your PC. Just insert the ethernet cabe in your PC

Automatic calibration

Our instrument is so sensible that  you don't need to use any electronic system ( RFID, NFC...) to give the answer to the instrument about the value to be found . Put any salts and it will be able to calibrate. So no knowledge,  you can manufacture and use your own salts, 

Automatic determination of the best measurements conditions

Because our technology is powerful, no need to save many procedures inside of the instrument to be able to display a measurement in 5 minutes. So we can work easily  and quickly even with unknown samples or modified samples  (R&D)
